I've been staring at the Craigslist ad for month. It finally got down to a reasonably price and the pics looked good so I met up to have a look. Turns out I sold him this Worlds car when I worked at Tammies. He still had the receipt
Anyway, I cleaned it up a bit- didn't get too crazy just soap and water. This car was taken out of service shortly after he bought it, and it sat in a box. It has some scrapes, but very little purple (just nose tubes and shock caps). He had also purchased an Andy's painted body for it, which is great because his paint work on the original was not great. It came with a Magnum Sport, batteries, and a Big Jim 17x3 hand wound. I will not be putting the futaba speed control back in it, probably put my 410K in it.
Anyway, here she is

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Hi,
I love the Andys painted body, I like how it blends with the original wheels.
The story of selling it and buying it back is fantastic as well.
I like the yellow 6 cell with purple end caps, choice.
It has cleaned up very nicely!
Cheers, Dave.
