Re: Slotcarrod's NIX 91 Stealth Racer
Got the buggy back together with the thicker race arms, but I'm driving it like I'm walking on egg shells. Not fun if you expect a crash and a SNAP! I managed to get a pack in at the local off road track but funny enough, I snapped a MIP CVD! Never done that before on any type of RC10.
I also noticed the battery tray accumulated dirt, so I made two holes in the rear tray so dirt can exit. This was done on original Stealth cars as well.

Re: Slotcarrod's NIX 91 Stealth Racer
1/10th scale 2wd practice nights are on Wednesdays at 6pm. Usually there's just a few guys there. I won't be running my NIX91 until I get the new front bulkhead that was just ordered.
I will have my B4 every Wendnesday, but can always bring the NIX91 (to show) and another RC10 to run for fun.

I'm planning Wednesday after 5pm at RC Gears. Will have my orange 10T, 91 and 93 Worlds there. Look forward to seeing you Dave! Anthony... not so much!

In that case I'll have to bring my yellow 10T back to life and make it a little bit more exciting
Since my original shocks went to my NIX car, these donor shocks will have to be adjusted too, but I don't remember what I had for the shock setup

A few action shots at RC GEARS
No damage after two solid packs (about 30 min of driving) and many crashes.

Re: Slotcarrod's NIX 91 Stealth Racer
Did they get the track complete yet? I can't wait to get back out there with mine when I get back to town. It's looking to be about 4 weeks straight now

No, these are old pics. The track is 1/2 done and looks so nice! Very nice for that matter. Happy to see you busy with work though!

Re: Slotcarrod's NIX 91 Stealth Racer
I ran on the track for over an hour and a half last night with no problems at all. People were saying it looks just as fast as my B5M and I should race it on Sunday. I think I might!

Re: Slotcarrod's NIX 91 Stealth Racer
I knew you would come to your senses lol. When I drove mine on that track I loved it, but it didn't love getting hit by 1/8th scalers. I still need to order another front bulkhead and a B2 brace before I can run mine again though. I plan on running it until I can't, and with Jake back in action, that's going to be a while
