I've never used a Brick Pack for anything, but I have a lot Saddle Packs from my wheeler.

If you only wanted to use the B5 cradle, it might take you a total of 30mins to do the mod, depending on how fancy you want to get. You don't need the front piece. Just use holes #1 & 2, you're done.

When I'm finished, I'll be able to Saddles, Shorty Sideways, and Shorty down the center.. like the B5m guys can. If I cant find a good weight balance with all those options, then I just need to move on to R/C Airplanes or Knitting.. lol

I used the saddle cradle from a B44.2 on my car. I'll try to take a picture of it. I used two existing chassis screw holes and drilled two.

Fred,

I'd like to see that!

I originally picked up B44 batt trays, but bought a B5m cradle for another project and jokingly sat it in the tub, and then all the above happened! ugh, projects :)

I still owe you some rear arm and mount pics, bcz the re-re arm mounts do move the arms in closer to the chassis..

Note to myself, B5 ballstuds and ballcups will not work on the rc10 Worlds bellcranks with Front Shock tower inner camber positions!
-this may have already been stated somewhere in the forum, I couldn't find it, lessoned learned! lol

The camber links are using a 4.8mm Ball stud and ball cup. When I had the AE 5.5mm Ball/Cup on there, it instantly locked up. With higher up or more outside camber positions, it might work.

Thank you!
If I can use parts that will be on the hobby shop wall at the track, then the better.
It's a lot of trial & error, to see what can work.

The Protech I, is one of my fav bodies. I also have a Turbo Mirage (next to paint), and about 5 other bodies that I'm using for working on a few molds for the tub chassis. Sadly, there is a CForward in the planning.

Had to go with the Decepticon.
When other racers see this car, they are instantly going to think, "Oh, isn't that cute. He brought an old car to try and race with us."....
but its a sleeper rc10... mwhahahahahaha!
At least I hope it will be. I'll hopefully know next Tuesday. I need to get it sorted out on the track, for the 3rd Annual Hanging Judge race at GSHobby..

I'll need to figure out a mod clay setup..

---

I like playing with the window lines. Like with these bodies.. They make or break the look of a car body! And most OEM window lines really suck.... lol

Closer to being finished but trying to get it mostly track ready for this wknd before they tear up the track for the race in 2wks. I still need longer front tower & fine tune some lil hardware quirks.

Using the B5m battery cradle, and running the shorty pack sideways; the ESC bullet connectors need to LowProfile 4mm Bullets, bcz the edge on the cab of the body is direct above the battery power ports. I also remove the 3 Foam strips from the chassis which gave me about 2-3mm more body clearance. This one of the area of the body that will rub, and will have tape on it.

I've also cut the battery cradle to run the shorty pack inline.. Lots of battery configurations to test...

Electronics setup.
I played with the battery positions for best balanced performance, and the shorty setup this way balance the handling on the clay track the best. Inline was 2nd best.

Some how I made it in the GSHOBBY site pic, Sat! Lol

Just wanted to confirm that you used the wider front arms with the B4 caster and steering blocks and got proper width?

I'll take a measurement this evening.

I saw ROAR now stating 250mm is max Width for 1/10 buggy
Reported values:
TLR 22 2.0 is 9.6 in (245.0mm)
B5/5m AE says "varies"
RC10 WC 248mm (9.76in)
B4 246mm (9.69in)
