Vale's Rc10 Worlds Car resto
Hey guys,
My A&L build is almost done...so I need a new occupation let's start the RC10 Worlds Car resto
I was looking for an original Worlds car CHASSIS PLATE (because I started collecting parts to build one).... But then I checked the B/S/T forum and TADAAAA !! I got it from a member (phoenix). Pretty cool because it's not easy to find those kinda cars over here (this one came from Germany). Just take a look yourself at ebay germany for an RC10 (or parts) and you will understand what I'm talking about
Here's the beast... It's used, not complete (missing shocks and universals) but VERY nice a very good start in my opinion. I have to spend some hours on it but I love these kinda projects.
I will start disassembling it this weekend and check what parts should be replaced My plan: restoring this one, using only ORIGINAL parts (no Re-Re) with some goodies. Example: have a new Hydra Drive waiting for it

First step is to clean the white parts with watter and some dish soap and to whiten the parts I will use the traditional peroxide/UV light methodmamadoesn`tletme wrote:looks nice! what will you do to clean/whiten the white plastic parts?
Concerning cleaning parts: I'm after a ultrasonic cleaner

Re: Vale's Rc10 Worlds Car resto
Finally disassembled the worlds car, cleaned each part one by one (those which I'm going to use for the build) and "whitened" parts.
I will have some vacations from Monday onwards, so I can start rebuilding this one soon
Already found NEW original yellow worlds wheels only missing a new body and turnbuckles right now
The box where I've been saving all my parts for this build
More coming soon...
Cheers

Nice choice on the turnbuckles. Pretty sure the rear outter carriers are supposed to be the black fiberous ones but I like the white. I used white ones on my world rebuild too. Looks great.

Re: Vale's Rc10 Worlds Car resto
Very nice and indeed well saved and good attention to detail. I would only recommend to place your rear shocks in the most outer holes on the arms. It looks like the CVD's are ready to pop out! The rear hubs from the kit are normally the black fiber reinforced ones, but I'm don't think you were aiming at a full original resto anyway right? The painted body will top it off nicely.

Re: Vale's Rc10 Worlds Car resto
Thank you guys
I didn't know the worlds car came with black hubs this one came without hubs...my second one came with black hubs but I was thinking they were replaced parts... good to know! But I like the look with black and white suspension parts, as it is right now
