retro Bj4.3
retro Bj4.3
DHood's B44 brought me back to this hobby again. I think I never left but haven't done nothing for a while
it's great whenever I saw the pictures
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=37896&start=9
and I got this Bj4 from a friend while I was asking to Dhood and gomachv then quickly got the parts from gomachv. thanks again guys electronics from the color I like went to this then still don't know which parts I want to anodise gold, or even got different colors in my mind. but I can see what shocks I want for this project

then this project gone different after the shocks
some b44.2 and b44.3 bits with brushless setup. I'm working on a new chassis after b44.3 now
I like red and orange both and need to decide the color of the aluminium parts and motor sleeve. but not now

Re: retro Bj4.3
before I saw the Kashma coated shock bodies, I got this teflon spray. the instruction is pretty simple like spraying, drying, then baking 10 minutes.
I'd try this anyway

Re: retro Bj4.3
got few more parts for the new chassis design. I needed to see the B44.3 chassis for this. and found some original Bj4 parts along with the bodies from the first version of Bj4. but, unfortunately the company helping my shipping threw the bodies and the undertray out. they thought lexan bodies were just the covers like you can see from some toy and doll packages. I believe they contacted Jconcepts for the bodies. they told me they would.
also, found a Proline bulldog body set for B44.2. it came with the undertray which AE doesn't provide anymore. they don't make the tray from B44.2.
I noticed Bj4 original and worlds have the same wheelbase.
the news chassis will be done after B44.3 chassis with the Bj4 center shaft. I believe I need to exchange the center front/rear CVD bones thanks to a member here for the worlds body

Cool BJ4! Have you seen the retro bugle boy body yet? I think it would be perfect for your project! Kind of pricey, but very cool IMO.

You're welcome! I like the original bodies too, not a fan of the cab forward. I drove my 44 with one too and I don't just don't get or see a benefit out of it really (bulldog). I painted mine quite retro too, will share if you're interested in seeing it.
