Late C.E. Clean-up

Post by scr8p »

I picked this up a couple weeks ago. Still not sure on a direction, but I don't see anything crazy. Probably just a standard rebuild, but add bearings and maybe cvd's. Thinking it may become an off-road carpet racer to toy with over the winter, but we'll see.

It's on its way. Got everything torn down and cleaned up. The car overall is in very good shape. Picked up a shock rebuild kit as well as a set of bearings. I'll probably pick up a rere worlds bellcrank for it and maybe update the trans with a more modern topshaft and slipper. I don't want to get too crazy with it.

The nose looks like its from an edinger and is in great shape You may want to save it for a non-runner. Perhaps a box art or JJH replica.

The nose is just off color. Notice how its cut on the back end where the servo goes

Yeah, the color matches on the c.e.'s were pretty bad.

I seem to remember that the Pb10 was supposed to be a carpet racer. Maybe this one will work out better.
Nice project, good luck.
Is anything new with that Team Car I traded you?
. . . you have Associated Green Slime for brains. And not even new Green Slime, but old gooped out Green Slime.

It's my plan. Whether or not it comes to fruition we'll have to wait and see.

Team car is chillin' on the shelf.

I decided to just finsh this one up stock. I have some other builds in the pipeline and I'd rather put the extra money I'd spend on hop ups for this towards those. I did install full bearings though. Rebuilt the diff and shocks.

Great job Jason, this one is looking very very good :)
