Thanks guys!.

Those are Losi step pins, they work well with the lose track we have here. Unfortunately they are discontinued and my last set. In fact, I had to take them off my Ten4's Lohan wheels :( The Ten4 is a shelfer so I just need to find nice rubber to replace them with.

Hey mate did you put the diff bolt on the slipper side and the nut on the traditional right hand side? Getting my stuff together and wasn't sure but thinking the bolt on the slipper side... Also you guys that have used bb springs on v2 shocks what lower cups did you use on the front? I have used the traxxas upper and AE lower spring cup on my other runners and noticed the bb springs on the 0.71 will require a little thought/parts to get them to work properly... To give proper clearance of the arm and still allow you to change ride height because the front bb springs are quite big compared to the actual shock.. Any tips you can give would be great thanks..

I put the diff bolt on the same side of the car that it normally goes (right side).

For the BB springs I used the medium height cups for the front and tallest for the rear. I also used Niki's big bore adaptors on the front without the adjusting collar. Not sure how Niki/Vae have theirs set up but curious to hear as well.

I ended up liking the white springs on all four corners for what's it worth, but the greens work well too.

Hey guys, as far as the diff goes, I have dyslexia, so I probably installed the bolt on the left side. Although that's probably wrong, so it's likely on the right side, who knows  :D

I'm currently waiting for the BB adaptors to arrive. I'll be asking around too to see what people have set up. I remember Niki mentioning a BB setup, but it's evading me at the moment.

RC10th mate, so slipper side with the trans in the location on chassis for the 10M? Same as before but opposite side of case? Do you just use plastic spacers if you need to do ride height on the front? I know it's tight lentghwise on the 0.71 shocks..Thanks

Yes, top shaft and diff get swapped to opposite sides of the case.

If you use the short spring cup in the front it hits the arm near full droop, so the medium was used to clear the arm. I used Niki's BB spring adaptor without the collar to lower the front ride height, it sits arms level or slightly under with this set up (this is with the AE springs)

The shock tower accepts longer front shocks which give a bit more adjustability with the big bore springs. I have not tried 1.02 shocks or 1.02 shafts in the .71 bodies to see what fits best. The AE big bore shocks fit without any problems if you want to go that route. I really live the V2 shocks with big springs though.

I'm going to double check my diff when I return home from work. I'm glad that was brought up, totally slipped my mind.

I never really understood the reason behind putting the diff in one or the other direction. I heard claims about the diff loosening up if you put it the wrong way around. But then it would tighten up when it's put in the right way, not?
To me this whole story sounds like a myth.

Beautiful buggy by the way ;)

The verdict is that I'm a 11 hour drive from home and working in the field for another 4 weeks lol
