I have the j concepts on my 44.2 and my graphite stealth build. a little bulkier than stock. i raplced the box ones on my 44.2 with a new set. (was always a rumor box ones were not as good as packaged ones) either way still kept popping them. went with the jconcepts. not one has come off with 5 times as much use as stockers. Now if you want luminum hubs. in rear like the b5 ones. could use the b4 aluminum ones? since they worked for all the 4 generation and sc10.

After a little debate today, I decided to go traditional with this build. It's going to be pretty much a Worlds RC10M. With many of the reproduction Worlds parts I made up the suspension. I used all of the parts from the kit including the shocks. I'm keeping the hardware the same too. I'm ordering up a TI hardware set, so the screws used right now are just temporary. I'm thinking about using BB springs with Niki's retainers too.

A few more photos for the photo journal. The electronics are in...maybe I should get some more modern stuff, but I've always liked the Tekin RS and 8.5t redline motor. The esc footprint is small and fits great with the rx between the battery tray and servo.

Also, since this only the second 10M chassis, I thought I would number it similar to the 91 Worlds chassis'. I'm not sure which colour sticker I want to go with yet.

From what I read on here those chassis stickers on the worlds cars are inspection stickers. If you are marking the chassis number for authenticity, I would engrave it under the trans or somewhere inconspicuous. Stickers can always be removed too.

Good point...for now, consider this one to be the second inspected lol.

Here are my latest pics. I only have some ball cups to replace and I need a servo horn.

Wow, that looks pretty good. It sure gives the RC10 a different look and you almost wouldn't be able to pick what it is. I can't wait to hear a track report. The big bore springs on the V2 shocks are awesome.

I'm curious as to what you think of the car so far?

Really nice work :)

Am hoping to build one for myself, do you know if shapeways will produce the transmission brace in black, motor cover is available.

Any idea when the carbon chassis are available as well.

I'm loving the weight distribution in the car. I can't wait to drive it and I hope to have the big bore cups by then. This car is solid and I imagine it is going to be a dream to drive.
