New to me rc10 the project starts.

Post by twisted »

I acquired this rc10 today from a friend. it was built a couple of years ago from a used car bought on ebay and new pats. cars in great shape. i plan on racing this against modern cars to see how well i can do.

what it has now:
full rpm arms
carbon works 3mm shock towers
fast eddy bearing kit
wheels from the uk that use 2.2 tires.(forgot the name)
lunsford titanium tie rods
a&l steering bell crank with bearings
kyosho velvet shocks

what i want to do:
set it up for a shorty pac with the b5m battery cradle.
jconcepts body (detonator i believe)
re-release cva kit (this car has the old style 1/4 axles)
maybe some NIX parts??
schumacher tires (our indoor track is astro)
modern wing

ive been out of the rc10 game since i was in my early twenties. ive been still racing every year since but with modern cars. if any one has any cool mods that are must do,look cool or help let me know.hopefully a friend will have a b5m battery cradle so i see how it fits on the chassis.

Nice buggy i race a rc10 worlds most weeks and love racing it, would recommend a b4 top shaft and vts slipper clutch, also you may need abit of weight in the front depending on steering and wheelies :-)
