What gear cover you using? Can you take a closer photo of the clearance? I am using the Worlds ReRe shocks with big bore springs and I can't find a gear cover to fit.

Gear covers don't really work too well on these. I had mine built with bottom load shocks and still had contact with a stock Caddy gear cover. It was minor contact and the springs only touched the cover at full droop, but with big bore springs or a gear cover for a modern slipper I got to think it'll be too much interference.

The gear cover was designed for a Traxxas Stampede/Rustler. It attaches by just the upper screw.

They are common on eBay and look cool. I will add a close up photo shortly.

I set aside a clear bumper like that for my build as well ha ha. Maybe Ill use a shorty black matt bumper instead. Looking awesome so far man! Good call on the losi bell cranks!

Finally some of the many needed parts arrived:) I need to convert the front Axels to 4-40 so I can use the Rogue Elements Knock-offs. Also, may change the Servo mount to Aluminum.

Let me know of any recommendations on battery straps.

Thanks, Mark

I agree. Here's what I have in the works/planned:

- Alum wing mount
- Custom aluminum antenna mount
- Polished Litesink Motor Mount
- Aluminum Servo Mount w/ Aluminum Servo
- Either Lexan or Graphite Battery Strap
- Knurled Aluminum Bellcrank nuts
- Polished Shocks

Not sure on the body yet.

From my test fitting, the B2/B3 bodies seem to fit the best. I'm curious what you come up with.

Made a few of the planned installations/upgrades; Silver shocks, Litesink motor mount, Plastic battery straps (for now) and custom Bellcrank thumbscrews/nuts. Not sure whether or not to keep the litesink blue. Black and Silver would bet a better match, but I would need an anodize source:)
