Thanks for the compliments guys.

This is a one off build with all the pieces measured out by thumb in the air and cut by hand. No CAD drawings or machinery used that would make duplication easily. I could list out the parts used when done, but it really comes down to finding a good B44.3 donor and the front end Ten4 parts.....and a lot of elbow grease.

Cheers

That looks great, all those nice beefy plates of carbon fiber.. they would be big targets for one of the 90's kids with an electric drill!

Finally got around to painting a body worthy of the build. As much as I wanted to Protech body, I just didn't like the look of it. A Mirage body just suited it better. Found some gloss black vinyl, and wrapped the rims too. Looked better than the white.

Next up, some electronics, a maiden run, and then retirement to the shelf.

I just read this entire thread thinking the same thing. I do not know how I missed it before.

This is a really cool build, Bubbleboy. Thank you for sharing the details with us.

This is an inspiring build! Curious to see if and when it'll be at a track for a test?

Thanks guys.

As far as driving this thing, it will likely go up the street and back again. Really don't want any scratches on it when it's done.

Well, if I had known Photobucket would have revived itself, I wouldn’t have deleted my account. Anyway, I think I got most pics fixed.

Stuck some Yokomo mini pins on....looks better than the Dirt Webs

Even though I’ve sold most of the fleet, this one may just stay.

Glad to see someone pull off something like I was planning. I'll have to measure the diffs I have compared to B44 ones, I may have to nab some B44 diffs.
