One thing for sure.....it has the "80's" flare.

Quick question, did you find a "florescent / neon" dye for the trans case, battery holder, etc?
If so, do you mind sharing what it is and where you purchased it?
I am having a HARD time finding 3pc yellow wheels (truck). The fronts pop up on eBay but I rarely ever see the rears. I want yellow 3pc wheels for a few trucks I'm building.

Thanks

You just use RIT dye available at most craft stores, wallmart, and even some grocery stores have it. I personally use the powder form but it also comes in a liquid form as well. Go on youtube and search "dye RC parts with RIT dye" you'll find everything you need to know there.

I used RIT dye many, many years ago. However, unless something has changed they do not have "neon" or "florescent" colors. I need florescent yellow.

**** I did find some "neon" RIT yellow but it is in there line of professional products and only sold in 1lb Jars ****
I may try it and see how it looks. If nothing else, it may do until I come across a set or two of actual associated 3pc florescent yellow rear wheels.

Thanks

Funky, I like it. Now anodize that chassis, motor mount, and nose plate a contrasting, neon color.

Looking good.
Whilst I love the faithful replicas I think it's always nice to grow a new one just starting with bits you have to hand, without being too precious. - It becomes very personal and it will always be unique.

Martco78 your bang on the nail with your comment, this buggy was bits left over and few projects i put into one i wanted to do a polished chassis and parts but took so long i put it to one side then added a few bits took few bits off so on, love the rc10 and have to say this is now one of my favorites. For the first time last weekend i got it on track and first time with a 6 gear, i managed at Revival meeting in the UK 1984-88 2wd 1st in the A final so happy with result and the way it drove :-)
