This thread makes me want to build the crappiest yet still fully functional RC10 out of the worst spares I have. Hmm...

My Worlds Car re-re runner. Swapped out the hubs to run the original wheels. For street/yard use, I run Tamiya Fast Attack rear tires and worn out front ribs. Dirt, I have some old school Proline knobby front tires and re-re rear knobby tires. I also have a pair of Tamiya Grasshopper sand paddles for the sand.

This car runs a Hobbywing 1060 esc and a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor. It's a fun car to run.

Meet "the Rat", my active duty cadillac RC10 8)

Run hard in the dirt weekly, as it was meant to.

Reedy 4900kv, stealth tranny w carbide diff balls. 3 years of bashing by the river and counting.
It came with the "roll bar", it has saved the shock tower a couple times I bet.

Hard hit dislodged the ESC today, natch.

That's great! I like the roll bar idea.

Current bashing mode: (Going well)
Stock Cadillac front end with anti-roll bar, but with later in-line axles.
JConcepts wheels/Louise tyres. Ball-raced.
Stock Cadillac rear end with B5 shocks.
Period Futaba steering servo.
Contemporary Absima CR2S.V2 transmitter & R3FS receiver.
Period Novak Rooster ESC.
VP Racing 6-cell 3300mAh Nimh battery pack.
Period Reedy Pulsr R 13-turn motor running a 19T pinion on stock 6-gear transmission.

Must get some bodywork/gear cover sorted before some proper dirt work.

It's how it came to me.
It had a hard previous life and the owner before me obviously took a polishing wheel to it to relieve some of the scratching and did the whole underside.
I quite like it.... I'm tempted to do a full polish version, including the shocks.

Building yet another RC10T Buggy. This one will be for backyard, field, non-track use. Picked up a pile of parts yesterday, and using that, plus my parts stash, we'll see what I end up with.

Here's my recently completed Horizon Hobby TQ10. It's not pretty enough to be a shelf queen, so it's been around the driveway a few times. It has B4 wheel conversions on it, a brushed Reedy esc from a SC10, and a vintage Associated stock motor. I was surprised at how quick it is! As long as I don't break the chassis, I'm good to go!

It's nice to see the drivers, since most threads are on shelf queens.
