I've ran gears that big with the stock cover, what wasnt happy....wait, the B4 shaft is longer and hits the cover didn't think of that until I was typing.

Hummm too hard for my taste.
I stick to
Tamiya Smoke 2-3 coats
Ductape Brand Carpet Tape
back it with silver paint or silver vinyl
^^ it even gives you this reflective shine in the sun.
Restored a OG fibrelyte Schumacher cougar chassis , hours upon hours of wet sanding and around 4/5 coats of lacquer were required . Really happy with the turn out so far
