Need the experts help here, is this rc10 gold all original?
The guy i bought it from says he bought it new,and one day it wouldnt switch on,so he messed with the battery connector, unsuccesssfully. He wasnt a big hobbyist,so he just hung it on the wall in his mechanics shop, where it hung for 20+ years. When he retired i ended up with it. It looks to me to be 100% original, even down to the antennae tube and cap. The only thing i see missing is the battery connector. Well i looked up a diagram and hooked up a battery and the buggy works great. If it is 100% original or close,im just going to clean it up and shelf it. If its not original im going to swap out the speedo and drive it,here are some pics. The dirt on it,is just dust from hanging in a shop. I also have the Futaba magnum jr transmitter.

Looks to be a late Edinger which is very desirable by collectors. Nice score!

Here is the bottom, not great but not to bad.The bottom of the Front arms and bumper have some wear but not to bad. The chassis has an "A" stamp near the rear.IMO i think it should be cleaned up and shelved. I bought it on the spur of the moment, and it was a take it or leave it right now situation. This thing sat forever, even the old body clips are browned up.

Why? These things are meant to be driven. Unless it's a pristine example (and it isn't), fix whatever's wrong with it and enjoy it.
