Why do you hate facebook.
You dont have to be there in your own name.
I can tell you that in facebook is lots of great sites as OLD SCHOOL RC, ICONICRC and the many rc10,kyosho. Yokomo and tamiya sites.
In facebook mostly of the guys are with their own names and lots of intrested items showing up every day.
The guy who is the builder of this monster 1/5 rc10 i have spoked many times in the phone through messenger.
It is more interactive in many ways too.
Dont miss them out...

I dunno, I just never have liked it. I know I'm not alone in that thought either. There's plenty of ways to do online things without it. If I need to share things with people I either do it via email, text, or forum. No need for Facebook.

I'm there on alot of groups and even some listed above but agree with this statement above 100%.

If you want to find something you looked at before in a busy group its a total PITA. There is no substitute for a good forum. As far as getting cheap stuff there is a ton of it out there on facebook. My latest was a little auction that I went way out on and paid $50 for a "big pile-o-stuff" which had a losi JRX (?) complete with a hydradrive setup, 2 complete sets of tecnacraft turnbuckles never used and a ton of crap from AE, losi, duratrax and misc other manufacturers for parts. Also had enuf parts to build an XX minus the chassis plate so I follow some of these groups faithfully

Both agree on that sexy project and not liking FB. I've closed my account 2yrs ago. Finding info is a PITA and the thing is like a drug anyway, you soon end up spending way too much time on it for no reason and then you're like "crap i've been on this for 90mn+ now, and for what?". Sorry for the off-topic rant.

Just say no to FB.

While I do have a Facebook account I don't use it.. or any other Social media site really. You end up going into Social media overload, you start with one site, then they tell you to get this one then that one then.. eventually you are doing nothing all day but going from one social media site to the next updating and keeping up to date in a never ending circle of posts and tweets and pokes and prods...

If someone wants to get a hold of me I have a phone number and email... :)
Losi - Jrx2, Pro, Jr2, Pro SE, JrxT, JrT, LXT, NXT, XXKE, XXTG+
Mini - T, LST, LST2, Crawler
Micro - Trekker, SCT, T
Crawlers - Trx4 Defender, Bootleg Bruiser Shelf Queen
-Bashers under contruction- Jrx2

I'm definitely not taking away from his work but I do see how he formed the tub. Very clever actually. I'm guessing it will be welded? Sanded smooth?

I'm not on Facebook to check in over there.
