Picked up this gold A stamp locally. It is really dirty but doesn't look to bad.

I like cleaning up filthy ones like that. You don't have to replace a thing and they'll like 100% better.

Yeah i doesn't need much! I have a couple upgrades but nothing crazy just some different tires and battery strap and trans brace.

About time to do an RC10 to get on the graces of the diehards on here. Scored this A Stamp on Ebay awhile back, just now tearing it down to see what i need. It came with a Holy Grail Le Mans 240S which i restored and will use in another project....

well from the looks of it, it has the hard to find clear gear cover, lower shock cups early dual bellcranks and if u look real close those beat up tires on the buggy say goodyear. kinda odd though it has a black chassis? once i get it ill pull and...

If those are rub marks on the inside white paint, you could just gently clean the inside rub section with a Q-Tip and lacquer thinner. You may end up removing a tiny bit of paint...

What is the best way to clean a stained chassis ??? Mine is a gold chassis and there seems to be some dark areas on it...Otherwise it is in great shape...And i have to believe it is some sort of stain...What is the best way to rejuvinate rubber...

Well, it's all back together again, doesn't look too much different from when I started...lol But, everything has been cleaned, inspected, repaired or replaced where needed and also installed all new bearings. 8)

Now onto a body for it.....

I'm about to cleanup my RC10 after all these years. You don't hear much about the C stamp gold pan. Does anyone know any more about the C-stamp era?
