Planned RC10 restorations
I recently purchased an RC10 and RC10T, both with original boxes. Planning to strip these down for a good cleaning, and restoration. The gold pan most likely will end up in my office with a vintage Futaba stick radio for a nice display piece.

Re: Planned RC10 restorations
Hi,
Nice pair!
Does the buggy box have a 6010 or 6011 label on the ends of the box?
Could you post a pic of the label if it not either of those?

The gold pan is in pretty good condition. I do wish it had the white arms etc. instead of the black, but pretty pleased overall.

Small world! I bought it from a hobby shop in Dallas that was going out of business. Interested to see if it's the same one.tuna.Rc wrote:I swear that gold pan one of my old cars! Bottom of the pan pretty decent ?! It used to be all white , then i swapped out the parts for black ones so it wouldnt yellow up on me.

Yes, the bottom is in pretty good shape. Lots of scuffs, but not a lot of gouges that go through the orange. If you kept all those white parts, I may convert it back to white. I like the Black, but the white just looks more vintage to me.

Re: Planned RC10 restorations
The gold pan (and box) are the stealth championship car. Basically , the last gold pan made, if I recall. It is from '91 or '92. A lot of those came with the black plastics. Very nice car, and a reasonably modern and capable design too.
I dig the 10T, here are mine:
