anyone have the length of the front cva bones? end to end would be awesome, also... if theres a difference in length of the center bones, i could use those two numbers too... and finally, do they differ between the .1 .2 and .3?

Unlike the rears, I don't think anyone uses the fronts for their projects, hence the lack of replies. What I DO know, is the the front and rear centers shafts are different, and the front and rear axles are different.

Hope I’m ok to post this here. Hard to find the below parts wondering if anyone can help? Another question about the CVA as well: I have a ASC 9911 - B44.2 center/rear CVA bone could I just get a longer dog bone (I.e. just the dog bone from a B44)...

Please can someone let me know the length of the dogbone section of the MIP type CVD uj of the B44. Fom tip of the ball to the tip of the cup. Also id be up for the width of the digbone ball not including the poles. Thanks in advance.

Maybe it's just me and my luck, but it seems like most of the assembled Tamiya vehicles I get off of ebay that have the yellow CVA's are NEVER built right!

If you follow the directions and be sure to cut the flashing off of every part, they are...

Back in the day they were a very popular hop-up item for the Midnight Pumpkin and Lunch Box. Maybe all Tamiya's of the time as well? They worked well and I never had one leak on me.

What works better? I know the main difference is the location of the cup. The cva's have it on the axle and the cvd's have it on the bone. My question really is does this make that much of a difference performance wise? Or something more for the...

This is an old but interesting post. Any new thoughts on comparing a CVA or CVD for an RC10B4?

The inside hub would have to accommodate the size of the cup throughout the suspension travel would be the obvious drawback.

Ran it for all of 2 minutes Sunday. Seemed ok, until the pin popped out and the CVD bone fell off!
Rookie mistake, they come pre-assembled and I didn't check that the grub screw was done up tight.
Unless I can find a rebuild kit, then I'll go back...
