I did a few more things today. I did buy some black nuts and washers. I've come to the realization that it's unavoidable having some silver bits so I'm not going to fight it. I guess I'll change the name to nearly murdered out. Lol

They make black ballstuds and the aluminum axles could be anodized. Lol. Steel can be oil quenched.

I've almost got myself talked into buying all black ballstuds. Not sure if oil quenching bearings would be a good plan. I think I'm happy so far with how it's turning out.

Most bearings are some grade of stainless and won't blacken with an oil quench, besides the fact that heating the bearings will basically destroy them. Black ball studs would be cool but not necessary.

I wouldn't mess w/ the bearings... then again, how much of the bearings do you see? Depending, you could get some dark steel shims... lol

That thing is on fleek!

(I figure I'll go along with Murdered Out, and use a terrible saying that describes something cool)

What do you have planned for wheels and dampers? I know it strays from the murdered out look but I'd run a red sharpie over the polished edge of the motor plate. If you don't like it, isopropyl alcohol will remove it.
