Sorry this is totally off-topic but every time I see that front shock tower it reminds me of a lyre.

I wonder if the person who designed this part also played in an orchestra.

Decided to try and strip this body again with brake fluid. I soaked some paper towels and placed them inside the body. So far I have been able to remove most of the red paint.

This will be my airbrush test subject.

After building my Jrx2 series buggies and setting aside parts for another build or two, I still have a decent sized pile of used Losi parts. So I have decided to take the worst parts that are still functional…you know..the scratched, faded, rusty,...

So I was cracking up to myself the other day while building what might actually be the most hideous RC10 ever seen from parts acquired over the last couple of months...everything has been drilled out, had glue splattered on it, rusted...

i got a black rc10 tub, think its a 10T tub, or could be the remains of that team car that was in the box.it has a gold front end,gold motor plate,old brittle bell crank. the tub looks as if the thing was cut out, that looks as if it were factory ,...

yeah, the wrong chassis to see holes in. i would dye that trans case black, i think that would make it look a lot better.

I had the shock bodies in purple as well but it just seemed like too much. Thoughts?

I have three RC10 buggy's now, two of them have the stealth transmission but this latest one has the 6 gear tranny. How do the two compare? I figure the stealth to be the better of the two but how so? I've ordered bearings and new idlers for this...

Well, here is my ugly duckling. I saw it on eBay with a low but it now and pulled the trigger before closely examining it. Still glad i did. It was beat up, chassis was homemade and longer than stock, and it was missing a lot. It did have a nice set...

that turned out great. That really was an ugly start of something unknown to begin with. Even though still shows wear it still shows nicely. The more I see these things the more I want one :roll:
