Is there someone who makes all 6 steel gears for the transmission or any way to swap a newer transmission with steel gears? I really need to get steel gears because I am running a brushless system. I'm not going to get rid of this one to get a newer one either.

You can use the lower steel outdrives gears as idlers. Just cut the outdrive section off.

you can take a spare set of lower gears and cut the outdrive off them to make idler gears. That gives you a full metal transmission on the cheap.

So I got a few sets of these from RW Racing. They Came with absolutely no instructions or the additional parts needed to run them. From the looks, They will require a bearing that is flanged and an addition Snap ring thats fits inside. I tried...

I've always got the problem of the idler gears worn off too fast. Currently, TH do not have stock for them. As such, I thought of making them into aluminium alloy.
Would you guys go with stainless steel, steel or alloy?
Also, how many of you guys...

The stealth diff gear and idler gear are plastic.

Heres how to make yourself some steel idlers for the six gear.
If you have two extra dogbone drive gears for the six gear cut off the dogbone drive part with a dremel ang there ya go......works...

i am looking for 22gauge steel bars/sheets

2 wide strips
and
1 wide strips

stainless preferred, but mild steel is fine..

anyone know of a good, cheap, reliable source i can buy some at.

i probably need 10-15 feet of each, can be cut smaller...

I was cleaning out one of my gun safes the other day and found my blueing touch-up pen for steel barrels. I had an idea to try it on some turnbuckles and screws I had stripped the rust off of. I went over the parts with my dremel with a soft wire...

Never seen these before (tried to search here also) - This came with a graphite I bought while ago and it looks too nice to be home made. It seems like stamped or cut and not machined or drilled. Has anyone seen like before?

I measured the thickness and it's only 0.8mm. Material is also ferromagnetic, so something iron based. Probably it's someone's one-off custom part - quite decent looking though. Not sure if I am going to use it either...

Just wondering whats the best solution to clean dirty grimy screws. I'm not trying to remove rust or anything like that but I got a lot of screws that are way too filthy (mostly grease and wd40) to put in anything white. What would be the best...
