Wing Buttons...
"When the parts you have don't have enough of a cool factor"
I'm wanting my wing to have a really cool look and the AE aluminum buttons that I have are just not getting it done.
I found these slick looking Yokomo (Z2-110) alum. wing mount plates at AMain and really dig them. Since they don't have a stub on the bottom like the old school parts, it's time to make something that will work on my trusty old mini lathe...

Re: Wing Buttons...
Wow, tough crowd...
So, got my parts made over the last couple of days. Really digging the look, just need to find the perfect wing. I'd really like to get a JConcept 5.5" wide Detonator wing but they seem to be out of stock every where I look online. Might just have to buy a body to get the wing
The wire (1/16" dia.) is short, only for the mock up.

Re: Wing Buttons...
Thanks guys!
Making the first one is fairly easy. To make the 2nd one an identical match takes a bit of brain focus.

Re: Wing Buttons...
Cuff links from rc parts... that's an intriguing thought. I'll ponder on that!
