This is an interesting way to route antenna...

I have a few of those purdy old gold label bottles and one of them has 80 weight!
What the heck would I ever do with 80 weight shock oil ?!!?!?
I must have been delirious the day I bought it.

Have you noticed that the new bottles are impossible to use without making a total freaking mess?

Really? Maybe I have it for the shock on the 10L. Hmmmm... Well, the bottle is half empty so the oil has gone somewhere.
It has been a very very long time ago since I last ran that car.

I don’t think the 10L could use that heavy. The RC500 I believe did. Also when people converted off road to On-Road I think they used thick oil such as that

I used to run 80 weight in the rear shocks of my team car when I ran on hardwood.

Hmmm... Well I've never owned an RC500 (or any other gas car), converted an off-road to on-road, nor have I ever raced on hardwood. So, for what it's worth, I'm going with my initial theory; I was delirious. :D

Yeah, I think I saw recent photos of this actual car posted here on the board somewhere or maybe it was a really faithful reproduction. Not sure where I found them; RC10Talk can be a very large haystack when you aren't sure exactly what needle you're searching for. But, all things considered, that's a very good problem. I bet the more senior members here can recall where the photos are or maybe they can advise what to enter in the search box.

This board is a GOLDMINE of all things RC10 related; there's so much fascinating content here I could spend months (or years) reading and never make it through all of the interesting posts. For instance, when you have time, have a read through the whole story behind the NIX91 and the Masami '91 Worlds replica. Just incredible!

So my 5 year old daughter asked for a pink RC car, I think I delivered. She is actually getting better at driving it too.
