Beautiful paint job! I wish I could do that quality of work. If you don’t mind, could you tell us what masking materials you used and the order of paint you sprayed. I don’t think I could line up those silver stripes so perfectly...
I didn’t take any pictures as I was doing it because I had no idea how it would turn out. Completely shot from the hip here. So simply put I had very little idea of what I was doing. First I put in the window mask stickers. Then I laid down the pin stripes by hand using a thin tape. Eye balled it and took my time. After that I masked off the white and red areas with blue masking tape. That left the blue open and first color to be sprayed. Removed the red area and painted that second. Removed the white and shot that third. Then came the tricky part. I continually played this over in my head. I needed to cut out the outside of the window masks to create the silver striping to match the pin stripes. So I drew on the outside of the body and then held it to the light to transfer the drawing to the inside so that I could cut with the knife. Peeled off the pin stripe and the outside of the windows and then painted the silver last. I turned out a hundred times better than I thought it would. Hope this helps.
I found 4 sets of these while cleaning out my hobby room. Obviously Schumacher but I've got no idea how old. I bought a YZ10 off a local auction site and these must of come with it. Are they worth keeping?

Seriously though, what is the diameter of the tires? For the non-purist sometimes a tire is a tire.
The rear tires on this RC10 are all but bald. Are they worth hanging onto? I know the rims will be reusable but what about the tires? Does anyone keep them just cause the are original?

To answer your question, I wouldn't keep the rear tires you have on the car in the pic, they are pretty far gone. Even if you were going to run the car, those probably wouldn't get you through the grass in the yard.
This was a problem with my vintage rc-10 and now I am seeing this problem with my B4 after installing a 10.5. When I hit the straight away the front end lifts a bit and makes it difficult to control. I know I could adjust the slipper, but then I...

The amount of up travel in your front shocks (or droop) is a factor too, if you are running 1.02's like I think you are and have less than 6 internal limiters then you are causing a lot more rear weight transfer than you might want by letting the...
With my 3000mah NiMh batteries, I feel like I'm pushing the temperature limits of my brushed motors. That's the main reason I don't move up to higher rated batteries. Every time I search up heat sinks, I come across a bunch of heat sinks with fans...

Without going through a full battery, I did a spot check of the temperatures. My son running the 7 cell was hottest at 223 F. Father in law was 209 F. Mine was 190 F. Hmm, BITD with NiCd I would bring a crew packs with me to do back to back runs. Of...
This site is awesome I just thought I'd mention that

hi and welcome, there are a few UK guys on here, me amongst them, great place to hang out
one question tho.. about the ball diff adjustment.. how 'tight' should I have it adjusted? I can grab a wheel and hit the throttle and there is hardly any resistance on the wheel I have stopped. Too...
