Saw this article in the July 2017 issue of RC World, it looks like the car is from the 1993 Japanese Nationals.

Found an old Japanese R/C Magazine with coverage on the 1993 Japanese Off Road Nationals. Also an old Yokomo ad from the same magazine. Unfortunately not the best quality due to upload size limit.

Nearly completed my RC10 FX-S 1993 Worlds and JMRCA Masami Style. Just a few bits missing and to be adjusted. I will prepare two versions to reflect the worlds car and the JMRCA car (Tires, a-arms etc.).

I'm working on my own build of the Worlds car using a Worlds rere kit. It will get run at one of the Vonats when it's done.

I’ve sent a link to this video to a friend and he pointed out that, beginning at 2:11, Masami appears to be gluing tire halves together. They appear to be both halves of the same tire that’s been cut along the parting line - I've never seen this...

Following the interest in Reggie's recent post about a RC10 that ended up 3rd at the '93 Japanese Nats, I thought some of you would enjoy that.
In '94, Satoshi Maezumi -an Atlas driver back then, after a few years at Yokomo- won the 2wd mod Japanese...

I present to you my freshly built Team Associated RC10FX. This model was released in Japan only and is essentially an RC10 Championship Edition with a few extra parts not included with the American (and everywhere else except Japan)...
