I recently purchased a assembled but never run rc10t2 on ebay. I will try to post pics.

I have a question. With older r/c's like this is there any harm in running them or do you destroy the specialness of the fact that they were never used?

I have been a carpet oval racer for 17 years and would love to put this thing on the track. I kind of hate to though!

Personally I would keep that for the shelf and find a used one for running, but that is up to you. If you do decide to run it, look into some chassis protector for the pan.

IDE keep that one nice too but that's just me. I always think if your not the person who likes to keep a perfectly good truck just sitting on the shelf. It's nice to sell the mint one to a collector who would appreciate it just sitting and pick up a used one to run.

Thank you fellas for the replies. I have only known about this site for a day, but I have already learned so much! I can't wait for my 25th post so I can see the classifieds. I really want a Novak Tempest to go with this truck, and I have decided to keep it a shelf queen.

Good choice. There are more used (i. e. chassis heavily scratched) T2's that come up all the time and are VERY affordable. They aren't as sought after (for the time being - who knows if everybody's World's buggy fascinations will someday switch gears).

Thanks! My dad is a real Hudson guy and it is starting to rub off on me. I am a mopar man through and through ( 1968 charger) , but a ' 52 hudson has been invading my thoughts lately.

Anyways, Hudson's have played a big role in my life so I thought that name would be cool.

Welcome to the board! I say good choice shelfing that truck! I have a T2 I bought back in the mid 90's that is lightly run if you want to trade.

On a serious note, are there any different versions of the T2 ? Until recently I did not know all the variations of the original car. Man, there were a bunch!

T2 Team Truck like yours only saw one revision from early 10t hex turnbuckles and shock collars to the square turnbuckles and B2 style collars. There is also a _T2 sport with different wheels, tires, shocks and bushings-

Thanks for the info. I guess the T2 is kind of like the red headed step child of the RC10 lineage. I always thought they were cool though and this is my first one. In all my years in r/c I have never owned a aluminum tub RC10 till now, and I think I would like to add to my collection. Up till yesterday I had no Idea what Edinger meant, nor "A" stamp or "B" stamp.

It gets addicting. I'm still having a hard time ponying up the kind of cash it takes to own some of these older cars when they pop up on eBay.

I hear you about ebay. I seem to have the rare talent of wanting what about 1,000 other people want at the same time!!
