Re: RC10T3 Shocks Question
things like the AE front bumper are really hard to find, AE rear mounts not. The rear AE chassisplate is different, metal apposed to the plastic TT crap. but who knows what your LHS has in stock.
Wish we had local shops here in Holland that have AE parts in stock...

Re: RC10T3 Shocks Question
Here's a nice thread resurrection So the T3 has been sitting in a closet (again) while I bought and sold a T4.2, upgraded to T5M, and bought a B6. I now have a spare Reedy 10.5 motor and esc sitting in a box, and spare 12mm big bore shocks from the T5M as well.
I think the 10.5 motor may be a bit much for the T3 slipper to handle (have heard I can upgrade to the newer slipper though) but I'm seriously thinking that I can use the big bore shocks on the T3. Do I need any special spacers or should they fit okay?

Re: RC10T3 Shocks Question
so after all the modern stuff you still like the T3
T3 tranny can handle almost everything if your slipper/diff settings are correct. The b4/t4 slipper mod is easy and works great. Check viewtopic.php?f=35&t=30024&start=15
I don't use big bores on my T3, but think they will fit just fine.

Re: RC10T3 Shocks Question
Are the front end hinge pins (9110 and 9115, PD7105 and PD7106) and arms (7205 and PD7082) interchangeable between the T3 and the Thunder Tiger ST? Are they both 1/8" pins?broodenburg wrote: ↑Wed Jan 21, 2015 4:24 pm It's called the Thunder Tiger ST.
Much is the same, but a lot isn't so be careful. The TT has a lot of metric stuff and the rear end is completely different. Front end steering is also different.
have fun with the t3!

Re: RC10T3 Shocks Question
Hi,
Are you after anything in particular, I still have a box with some T3 parts, A-arms and hinge pins, I would be happy to see if I have what you need.

Re: RC10T3 Shocks Question
Thank you for asking. Mainly curious about compatibility as I have been considering a project. Based on the AT/ST manuals I have found online, the front arms and assembly appear to be identical. However, it is not clear if the hinge pins are 3mm or 1/8inch.
