Jimbo302's Trucks
I thought I would consolidate any pictures or discussions I wanted to share with the forum into one thread, for simplicity.
I'll start with my 10T from my original thread. I got this one running with some new electronics and a 550 motor and went through the transmission. Its running on 3S lipo. It turned out to be a blast and is currently filthy from running it in the yard because of that.

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
That's a nice runner,
good work!
When I ran my T3 on the street using a 3 cell, I continually had problems with the diff.
I ended up turning it into a spool.
Cheers, Dave.

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
Another 10T I recently acquired. I hooked up the "roar stock" motor and powered it up to find that everything works well on this one. The original wheels and tires are in pretty nice shape and it has all era correct futaba electronics.
It had a hack job done on the steering servo mount complete with holes drilled in the pan.

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
My current basher is a T4. All hobbywing 9t brushless setup. It is remarkably fast and a hand full to drive under any amount of heavy throttle.
It has a newer stealth with the really large diff and a vtr slipper. It handles the power well.
It's fast on 2S and insane on 3S.
It has a new set of TBR bumpers/wheelie bar coming for it.

I went through the diff and packed it with grease.DaveM wrote:That's a nice runner,

This 550 motor is pretty tame, so it seems to soak up a lot of the voltage while making the truck really drivable. So far the B3 slipper on the truck takes the beating and is saving the diff. Depending on the pinion gear it can be a wheelie monster or just take off flat and level.

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
Great customer service at TBR. I ordered a wheelie bar and it had a crooked wheel mount hole, I sent them a picture and they shipped out a replacement part.
