Hi i have been racing my rc10t but i also race a t5m i have a lot more wheels and tires for my t5m i was wondering if anyone has done a 12mm hex conversion to a rc10t and what parts they used for the correct offset using t4.2 /t5m wheels?

So, I got 2 old rc10s, an original, and I think the other is a worlds; stealth tranny, wider front arms, ect. Anyways, not worried about worlds or not. I left the hobby years back, life and such. Now getting the things running again. Ok, so enough...

depending on offset, and if you strictly care about ROAR regulations, you may be able to just run the hex adapters on the 1/4 axles like so:

for the front run the B4.x type hex axles as mentioned.

It seems I'm always needing thinner 12mm drive hexes than what I've got! Do hexes exist that are less than 4mm thick, use crosspins, and 4mm axle holes on the outside, and I believe 5mm holes on the inside?

I have some Kyosho hexes that are barely...

I managed to source some very thin hexes. I've seen thinner ones--Kyosho makes some that are only 3mm or so thick, but those use a tapered-hole, friction-fit. Pretty much all the hexes I'd seen that use cross-pins, and have a 5mm inside hole/4mm...

Has anybody run 12mm hex wheels on the front of their car? Rears are no problem, I've got HPI adapters for both size axles. I need to keep the front tires under the body, so I'd like to keep it as close to stock width as possible.

Cool, thanks for the info. I want to standardize all my wheels and tires, so I'll give those Associated parts a try on them in the future.

I did some fitting with various cars in my garage, and it turns out the Traxxas steering knuckles fit well...

I am restoring my flat chassis GT and decided to go with the front end parts from the B4.2 so I can use hex adapters . I ordered RPM wheels for the electric Rustler and combined with the hex adapters from the B4 on the rear , there was barely axle...

There's a local series racing indoor offroad this winter... Unfortunately there are only 3 dates that I can attend. I sold my last modern 2wd last year, and I don't want to buy a $300 car for just three meetings. And I have this awesome...
