rc10 ds modern wheel conversion parts

Post by Luckyracing »

I am starting to piece together my first DS and want to be sure of the parts needed to run modern wheels and tires. What is the easiest route to obtain the needed pieces and what are said pieces?

I also saw CVD's from this place: Universal dogbones http://www.drcwonline.com/browse.cfm/universals-rc10ds/4,45110.html

Any good? Any issues with changing to modern wheels with them?

B4 Hex conversion up front and hex adapters in the rear.

Those universals look like associated parts so they should be just fine.

as mentioned, the hex parts up from and a simple hex in the back.

i think i saw a pair of universals on ebay recently. otherwise, they will be a tough find.
