Wow! Looks great!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Some tuning options for racers and runners
I finally got all the gears, bearings, etc to try the 4-gear mid-motor case, hopefully this weekend I'll have time. I'll update the thread with the outcome and pictures. If all goes well I'll try it out on the track next week too.
The bolt-in mid-motor bulkhead needs a couple holes moves about .030" or so, then it will be perfect.

I'll keep you guys posted. I haven't had time to try the 4 gear case yet
Re: Some tuning options for racers and runners
I finally got a chance to have some track time with my Worlds Car equipped with your 25º hubs. The car is just so much fun to drive now. My brushed 27T car was only .2 of a second slower than my 17.5 B4.2. Thanks for providing a good alternative to the crazy expensive Ebay hubs.

No, sorry, development of those is on hold until the Ten4 kit is released. Hopefully not long now

Re: Some tuning options for racers and runners
I've started working on some new Ten4 front arms that are a bit longer than the stock ones. I'll post something on those soon.
My next project is going to be a completely bolt-in/no cutting mid motor conversion for RC10s.

Re: Some tuning options for racers and runners
NICE stuff MK!
I really like the 4 gear transmission case.
I somehow missed this thread and was already kicking myself for a recent graphite mid motor build. Since they are not available yet no biggie for me.
There alreacde quite a few mid conversions out there, is there enough material in the 4-gear tranny around the stealth mounting hole areas? Either original location (drilled chassis) or flipped location?
It would be easy enough to drill holes as long there's enough plastic there. I am asking because should any mid motor builder (myself included) want to combine a mid conversion with a RPM narrow chassis, 2 of the original 6- gear holes are needed for the arm mounts.
Just a thought.
I think what MCKNBRD is getting at is an arm mount design similar to the JRX Pro or B4 arm mounts, where the mount to the chassis is in front and behind the actual arm, pushing the hinge pins as close to the gearbox as possible.
I am assuming like in the picture above. That could probably be done even with the Bulkhead like in the old Losi.
Nice stuff,
Tony
