What year did wide front wishbones come out for the rc10 Associated, Rpm, andy's ect? Who was the first to run them in Competition and what year?

was a rc 10 at the 1988 Reedy International Offroad Race of Champions run with Andys arms? It would be nice to see a picture in a magazine if anyone has a link

Picked these up today, amongst a few other goodies.

Does anybody know what the rear uprights might be (make?) I was told they may have been sourced from Jason Varley at CML.

Hey now what is the difference in the years of the short white a-arms and the longer white a-arms on gold tubs ? and how can you tell if the car came with the short ones or long, or if the nose plate is changed from one to the other ?

shorty is that your box art rc10?

if so its obviously very nice, but i'd like to know what paints were used.

and i only dye parts if they are stained from the sun or grease. i am a big fan on non-dyed parts but only when the white is REALLY white....

What are the extended and compressed lengths of the short RC10 front shocks? I'm using a McAllister lowering kit that uses 4 short shocks and I'd prefer the ones with threaded bodies - not necessarily Associated shocks.

If I recall, somewhere around 2 - 2 3/4 .

Hi all, I recently got my original RC10 ten worlds back up and running, but am struggling with the front suspension.

Original shocks and black springs, new oil and I stripped them down and rebuilt them.

All looks good, but I get next to no rebound...

So it turns out somehow I had completely the wrong shafts in the front shocks, they were about a cm too long. No idea where they came from or how they got in there... but not surprisingly, now Ive put some new, correct sized shafts in, it’s all...

I'm trying to figure out what wheels will work with my RC10 Graphite. I have the originals wheels still, but they're pretty trashed. What's on there now are Tamiya Wild One fronts with adapters for the original 3/16 x 1/8 bearings, these...
