Speaking of good on a hot day. Another Redd's for me. The difference is though, that I achieved "Absolute Zero". The temperature that is a fraction of a degree above freezing. Ice forms on the outside of the bottle, but not inside. You're witnessing a rarely seen beautiful and natural phenomenon.

Had an ice cold Tecate tonight with fish tacos from Wahoos. Man did that hit the spot!

I switched to non-alcoholic beer for the working week. At 0.5%, with the same taste (more or less) as the real thing, and at 50 cal a pop the pounds are just shedding off.....as are the hangovers.
No need to fret though,.... the 5% stuff kicks in on the weekends.

Seems like a good idea, and still get the goodness during the week. (Does that even make sense?)
I picked up a four pack of these to try, Smithwicks Premium red ale. 4.5% and really tasty when cold.
I splurged and bought an expensive bottle of single malt whiskey as well, spent way too much.

I love Christmas and have lots of sentimental ornaments, but the one my wife bought me today has to be my new favorite. She's bought me plenty of beer ornaments, but this is the first one that's hand painted by someone in China.

That sounds good...never tried it, but I've tried other citrus beers...orange mostly, but I sometimes like to squirt a bit of lemon or lime juice in a beer. I'd like to try a grapefruit beer. I tried a nice one, Alexander Keith's Galaxy Hop Ale...it has hints of pineapple & passion fruit. Here's some info:j-sou wrote:Grapefruit beer! It's surprisingly good

It actually has a hint of sourness that was fruity at the same time, but isn't very sweet.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Had a few buddies over to the barn for the Colts game Thursday night. Cleaning up today I found one of these left behind in the fridge. Wheat Ale with a bit of pumpkin. The Traveler Jack-O Shandy. Better than you would think.
