Thanks. Painting on the outside makes masking and more complicated patterns quite a bit easier.

Larger tires... The thing is the body is very wide and covers the tires entirely. With the current tires I don't rub anything, even with the craziest flex. I can try some others I borrowed and put up the pic.
But no 2.2s for sure.

I didn't have the chassis completely finished when I made this pic, but you get some idea of the flex.

Those look much better on there! It looks like you could widen the rear a bit and still keep them under the fenders. Nice battery tube holders as well for the dual saddle packs. :D 8)

Thanks. Those are drawer handles from the diy store, just like the stainless slider rails actually.

I have to return those wheels and tires to my buddy.
But with the wheel wideners installed, the slightly smaller originals look a lot better now.
And to stop the excessive body roll and torque twist I made these:

DIY rear swaybar and...

front sway bar.

PS: to thank my buddy I added some weight to his stock axial wheels.
Nearly 60gr in the fronts and about 45gr in the rears.

Nice job on the sway bars and the wheel weights. Is that solder wrapped around the outside and inside?

The original wheels looks good with them widened. 8)

Thanks.
It's pure lead with an adhesive backing.
They sell this in arts and crafts stores. It's used for making fake glass in lead artwork.
