That looks great. There is still demand for those if you ever decide to try to do some work 8)

Well... I don't really like "work"

What I could do is make a few as trading material. I've got to get a diff shaft to see how things fit and if I need to bore out the back side of the cover to clear the end of the shaft and e-clip. On the prototype, the cap inserts to a depth of 0.060" in the bearing adapter.

I have a couple of Stealth caps on the bench right now, 2 aluminum and 1 titanium. I'm out of 3/8" dia. aluminum so it will be a while till I get some more made. I can make a couple more titanium, then I'm out of that too.

That's lovely... not sure I have anything to trade really, but if you feel like selling one, well, I'd happily sport it on one of my cars!

I need a bit of help from the Guru's on the 6-gear tranny...

The manual says to tap the tap the diff pinion onto the diff tube. What I'm not getting is how far, how much?

Just to seat it. That should be fine. You don’t need to use a press or anything. It’s somewhat like setting a Jacobs chuck in a drill press

Right, it's a taper fit, just be sure it's seated squarely and that's it. No further pressure. Once it's assembled with the top shaft and thust and diff gear the spring and nut apply pressure to keep seated and locked.

I received the final parts for the Stealth tranny this morning. I went with the vented slipper plates because they look cool 8)
The tranny spins smooth as heck on compressed air.

Do I leave it natural, dye it black or maybe red :?

Looks fantastic! I tend to prefer natural but I guess the color depends on what you planning to install it into. So this leads me to my next question; what are you going to install into?
