30 minute machining video

I machined a part for my tube frame car project (The goes-way-too-f#$king-fast-mobile) on Halloween, and got the itch to capture the procces in 4K video.

This was all taken with a Moto Z Force in HDR UHD video mode. Not that it really needed it, but I could, so I did.

There ended up being 12GiB of footage, and it took a while to upload and process on youtube, to say the least. The old unlimited data plan loved it.

Enjoy!

For higher resolution, it's recommended to use the youtube app or website.

I'm still working on the gearbox stuff, just doing a few parts and etc for shakedown still.

I was just thinking back to when batteries would only last 3-4 minutes. I could not turn my car on until the race was ready to go or else I would have no more juice at the end.

Times sure have changed for the better.

yea i Remember 3 minute races..even 4 minute was cool with me.. i like the shorter races.it was fun when there was a few classes and short races...with all the classes now and long races its just too much at some tracks..who wants to be at the track...

I noticed a major problem yesterday, just slow driving on driveway about a minute and a half the brushless motor (4.5 Novak) , esc and esc cap (novak GTB) were hot I mean the motor wires got so hot that 2 de-soldered themselves at the connectors....

this isn't the first time I've heard of the Novak GTB doing this type of thing.
Man first I heard of that, been running these since 2005 have one in every car with spares but guess what Im out of spares now since I messed one up myself, one burned...
