Of course white plastics would be epic, but the gold is sure nice to see! Those are the thickest towers I've ever made. They are 3/16 thick. These guys don't mess around nowadays

Sounds like he is leaning towards a Jay Halsey paint scheme

So I found the lengths that will work. And I know the threads are 4-40 type. I can't seem to find the diameter anywhere. And pardon my ignorance if the diameter is implied with the 4-40 thread type designator. Will they fit the Gen I Traxxas rod...

The retro turnbuckles start with a 1/8 rod that is turned/rolled with #4-40 threads on the ends. As shown above just under 3mm

I'm building a shelfer and figured, what the hell, I'd do titanium hinge pins and turnbuckles. What kit # do I need to get? I checked out Tower but they list the B4 and SC10 and some others, but not sure if those have compatible lengths for my needs.

I often wondered why Associated ditched their heritage of using gold colored anno parts. New image with new times I suppose, but I still prefer the gold. Purchased a new B4.1 ahwile back along with the new big bore shocks and other bits. This will...

picked up a set that says for T2/GT/T3. It is the punished series. When I compare the length they are shorter then my current ones. I was under the impression that the gt and T2 are the same lenght as the 10T..

....the new set has two diff length. 4 rods are 2-5/8 and two are 2-3/4.
The technacraft I pulled out my box are SHORTER then the all four 2-5/8 by 1/8. Not really much but a 1/4 shorter then the longer two. I'm. Thinking the longer two are good...

Im going to be ordering a full hardware set for the rc10. My biggest question is it worth upgrading parts to this material? Is there any advantage over stainless steel with a good finish? I'll have to determine what all screws I actually need but is...

I have a set of RC10 lunsford titanium tie-rods circa 1995

Which rod ends will work with these (e.g. I assume the modern Lunsford ones work)? Any others?

Also is there a ball cup wrench?

I tried the Associated ones but they seemed too small,...
