yeah, no problem. i run with a great group of guys, not too serious.

in prep for running around here, m4 compound tires work well. like proline suburbs.
the other track here is basically running slicks., or very worn m4 tires.

Since being on this site I have found that I have too many parts and R/C Models. Please help me get rid of them. ;-)

Sorry for the non-response last week, was travelling. The LI track actually moved, so it's in Lindhurst now (same general area - website link below) - I'll be there next Sunday - my munchkin is having his 9th birthday party there - they do a cool package with short course trucks for a couple of hours), and will figure out what works, etc...

I'm probably not going to be ready to do any driving, let alone racing, for the next month or two - need to get a build finished, get the rest of my electrics updated, and make it through my busiest month of the year at work - but then would love to meet up and do some driving.

I am hoping to be able to go up to the Vonats this year - have planned it several times but never made it - Sept is probably my second busiest month! But first need to have a car running, setup, and maybe do a bit of practice on track so that I'm not a moving chicane

Not a problem Zipster, I understand how busy life can get... I will need to hit that track in L.I. to get some practice time in. I hope to make it to the Vonats. I will need assist on setting up electric etc ( As I mentioned previously- I mainly race nitro )

Kaiser- I will try to set up a 2wd as well and see how that works out for me. ( Wish me luck )

Thanks, that should be cool. He will have a lot of fun. Do they have like a yellow flag for their R/C or a learning to drive sticker for the newbies... :P
