Great! It will be great to see you guys again this year! One of these days I'll have to come over to Sweden for your race I saw in Radiostardt!

A quick question for the guys that stayed in hotels. I know some of you stayed across the street in the Quality and others stayed at the Courtyard. Any feedback you can lend would be great so I can direct people to the best place. Thanks!

The Courtyard is Mariott and was what you would expect. With my military ID the price was cheaper than Quality and probably a lot nicer. I would stay there again.

Courtyard was nice. Only downside was we had to park in a parking garage. Didn't like the idea of the rc stuff sitting in the truck overnight so we had to bring it up every night. Made for a lot of trips to and from the front door of the hotel. If we can get the time off next year, we will prob stay at the hotel across the street from the track.

Any idea when we'll see all of the pictures from the event posted somewhere? I know a lot of pictures were taken by several photographers...

My pictures are posted on the FB page for the race. I'm not sure when RC Driver is posting theirs or if their saving for an article. Have to keep an eye out.

I am looking to try and race this year and would like to confirm the dates so I can plan ahead. Sept 18 - 20th 2015 correct Erich? The motor is 17.5 as well? ( I am green when it comes to racing electric )
AKA ( settin03 R/C hobbies and more ) on Ebay

Since being on this site I have found that I have too many parts and R/C Models. Please help me get rid of them. ;-)

any chance for a better surface this year? last years track was ok for the racers but the classics and heavy metal suffered greatly.

it's tough to run og tires on that stuff. I gotta admit that the bethel surface was the best for the oldies.

I rely love the Bethel track and the layout of it with the low jumps. Perfect for the classic cars! :D

I also agree that Bethel Arena was great! The surface was close to what our tracks at home (Sweden) looked like in the 90's. Very nostalgic. I understand that track surface is a personal preference and not everyone can be 100% happy. I fully support Mr President Erich's choice though.

Feel a bit sad for not being able to participate this year either but Sweden is sending two great drivers anyway. Lars and Tomas, make us proud!
Cheers
Joel

The loose dirt and being outside was definitely nice but there were too many complications with the track as it's not a full time existing track. Wolcott is a modern surface for sure but they do an excellent job every time and being indoors makes things a LOT easier for everyone.
