Tap tap..is this thing on?

Post by Y'ernat Al »

Yo. Nice site you guys got going here! Yes I've been away long enough that this build of the month thing hit me in the faces as totally new, but I do see a few threads that have refused to die.

So cutting to the chase: Today, after an impressive and regrettable absence, I got down into my utility room. Reason - this morning my wife and I sat in out living room down in San Diego and closed on another property in....Spokane Washington! We should be up in Spokane by months end.

So I started packing up tools and the like and recognized something. I got quite a cool RC collection that I've neglected due to other distractions such as guitars, work, wife etc. But I ain't boxing all this stuff up for no reason, so here's hoping moving all this vintage r/c is gonna kick start the lipo charger as soon as things start blooming up there this spring. 8)

Thanks gents. Yes aip/aaron it was you that was up there. I knew it was someone. We'll be down off Southeast Blved as it climbs South Hill. I ain't selling the SD real estate but it's getting rented so everything has to get packed up. Luckily all my half finished builds are pretty well organized in their own plastic shoe boxes, it's just all these parts I'm finally sorting through out of necessity. I'm pretty jazzed.

Renting a house is stressful. I ended up selling ours in the end as it wasn't worth it. That being said there is a difference between a rental property and a home.

Good luck with the move, I wish I could move to Washington. The climate is quite different to San Diego though :)

Thanks mate. I have a real good property manager on the hook. Finding the right tenants is the key.

Copy on the climate thing, but this summer I'm running sprinklers on the lawn every day, and I'm washing my own truck letting the water run down the gutter, and drinking decent tasting water directly from the tap. I'll shovel a few feet of snow for that. I grew up here in so cal, but it's been getting too crowded and dry at the same time. And I got a lot of work brewing north of the border of late.
