Velcro or Magnetic Body Mounts

Does anybody have experience using velcro or magnetic body mounts?

I have noticed that they are frequently used on drift cars.

I am trying to find a set for my RC10 DS.

Any suggestions?

I use Velcro a lot on my buggies no problems. I put the soft side on the chassis and the hook side on the body that way if its not perfectly lined up it doesn't scratch the body.

I do the same as Qballl and use Velcro on all my bodies. Hard side on the body always

I just use a strip of Velcro on the side of the chassis. Usually pick it up from Walmart or michaels

For those of you who have decided to make a B4-B5 style semi-permanent rear wing, how did you cut the front 3/4 of the body, and how did you mount it?

Also, did you keep using the back 1/4, and how did you mount that?

I have a rear shock tower...

This is what I have currently, also a late model style sing mount. Can't remember what car it'd from, I want to say B4 though. Note the ginormous holes needed to get the body off around the wing mounts.

These are the shortest, 1.5 , you could cut them down if they are too long.

I am always in the need to extend the classic white or black body mounts longer to accommodate different body shells. Does anyone have hack to extend them longer?? besides using washers and odd bits of tube plastic?

I wanted to know if RPM made white 10T front and rear body mounts? Not the #7014 body posts, but the actual mounts for the posts. Either adjustable or non-adjustable. I've never seen them in the ads.

I just put a set of RPM side bulkheads (the mount for the 5 link) and now the stock body doesn't fit. Before I cut the body to make it fit, has any one else had this problem?

The package for them didn't have a header, so it's probably the ones for the JRXT. Hmm, that's a pain, guess I am going ot have to find another set. The originals are nice to have, but always seemed a bit weak. Just found a set of originals on eBay,...

I swear I saw someone recently who had a pan car running rear body mounts that went out the side (low) instead of the top. A little short 90deg. mount. But now I can't find the pic or info. I want to use a mount that style for a weirdo body I have....

In case anyone is interested, I found these to be a perfect match to the original XX velcro battery strap set - A4010:

This is a UK based seller so shipping to the USA would obviously be more.
