Great retro styling on all those. You have great taste in vintage schemes. Lucky you have Chuck around to keep them all polished and organized.

Thanks and yes. I only use rattle cans so this would only apply if you use them and are painting lexan. First use only quality paint. I use Tamiya 95% of the time. Pactra is cool sometimes but whenever I have a run or something funny happen, its always with Pactra paint. I don't reccomend backing one with the other either. Always spray on thin coats and take your time. I may spray 4-5 coats of just 1 color to prevent runs. Also, use quality masking tape. I find Scotch 3M works well and is cheap. Always scratch the backside of your fingernail along the edge of the tape to create a tight seal. You want to prevent paint from creeping through to where it shouldn't. Paint dark colors first always, lighter colors last. Oh, before you get started, run the lexan body under warm water and rub around a little dishwashing detergent with your hand to clean, rinse thoroughly.

4-5 run in thin coats. Wow! Maybe one reason i cant achieved good quality paint job is because i do not have the patience. Most of my body shell was painted in 2 coats, which is less than half an hour

thanks for the info :D

They all look great! The Miller shell is my favorite, very old school look.

Thanks. It was my fav too. I ended up selling it to a well known hobbyshop owner with a crazy rc collection who also belongs to this site. Good thing is I still have Miller decals and will someday remake the body.

My ReRe was shot with the cobalt. Really liking that color. I'm a shaker can man myself. Really clean paint work you have there. My problem is patience. Also after spraying a bunch of my buddies bodies with the tamiya paint, I have to agree with ya. Having mainly using the other stuff due to prices I think I'm going to stick with tamiya.

Not a lot of time for RC lately but managed to paint this up for my friend who wanted to use these sweet old school Novak decals.
