It will dissolve most plastics over time. When I used similar industrial grade stuff in the lab I couldn't use plastic petridishes because they would end up glued to each other, gooey, or start to leak.
I'm trying to restore the body on a 1980's bruiser. Very good shape except for 3 different layers of paint. What's the best way to remove it. Sanding is way to slow.

All depends on type paint was used but easy off yellow can is best.Hopefully the body hasnt been painted multiple times if only painted once it should be a hour or two to remove it.Spray it let sit use rag an gloves an wipe loose paint off then...
was doing a search for liquid mask .. hobby store cant get it .. and ran into this video to remove paint from both body types

Fyi, i discovered, completely by accident a way to get old paint of lexan. Not exactly sure what paint it effects as it was a prepainted body. Use the citris base cleaners u would use to get old stickers off things. I was cleaning some very old...
I'm sure this has been asked a couple of times but would it be better to strip paint off the outside and inside or just do a 200g sand job and respray a light coat? It is an old Bolink Thunderbird body.

You're better off buying a new body if you can. It's a lot of work to strip paint.

If you guys have stripped a body and have the hazed windows, try spraying them with a clear coat. In most cases, that will make the windows clear again.
