RC10B3

This is my favorite car. I searched for one after reading a member's account of racing a B3 against modern cars. I've had every RC10 except the B2/B3. At the time, I had a new B5 and in the last month sold it because I was having so much fun racing the B3. This car came from Ebay, pretty much as you see it. I've changed the springs, bought tires and added my electronics. I've raced the car a couple of times since moving and have qualified in the top 3 in 17.5 buggy each time. I've had some pretty rough luck in the mains but needless to say, the car is very fast and it is a hoot to beat modern, mid motor cars.

It's current setup is 30wt front/ 25wt rear. Black springs all around. The car is geared 32/69 and the motor is set at 20ยบ of timing.

For electronics, I'm running a Hobbywing Just Stock Club Spec ESC, SMC 17.5T motor and a ProTek 100S servo.

Some updates:

Built a short arm, 6 gear RC10. It's mostly stock, except for adjustable turnbuckles and JConcepts steering. I used some Associated to Tamiya wheel adapters for the front so I can run Tamiya wheels front and rear. Tires are Tamiya Grasshopper fronts and FAV rears. Long lasting and great for the street. For electronics I'm running a Trackstar D99X servo, Tamiya TEU-104BK ESC and a Gool RC 27T motor. It's geared 12/54. It's not too fast, but runs great! Runs forever on a 5000mah 2s lipo.

RC10WC Re-Re

This is my runner WC. This one has RPM arms front/rear, Associated big bore springs on the stock shocks and a Lohas front bumper. Tires are Tamiya Dual Block in K compound. For electronics, there is a Savox 1251 servo, Novak Tempest ESC and a Tamiya Dirt Tuned 27T motor. While not fast, this car is great for blasting around in the yard and at the park.
