Very nice indeed.

I think they are the holy grail of r/c motors no doubt.

I bought Big Jim's motor black book. A very interesting read.

nice stuff ,i always liked my Twister motor .. Anyone know the specs on Twisters?

Unfortunately I can't find any of the stock motor. They were hand made by a guy out in Michigan back in the day.

This is one of their modified motors

The stock model was a silver can, instead of the black you see and the decal, which mirrored the black inside the gold label, was actually vinyl lettering applied directly onto the silver can.

As far as colors, these are what I have/had, to initiate comparison and hopefully other members with these motors can check what they have:

Blue - 14T
Gunmetal (?) - 17T (i have 2 of these and they are both the same winding)
Silver - 19T (if I remember correctly, i traded it off)

this might help ya. found off ebay an orginal motor tag. the numbers (15-20) are the motor turns.

can someone here tell me why the checkpoint motors had different color labels? also why some were painted black and some were bare metal cans???
