It would be nice to know how much those Tekin stickers behind "Patent Pending" fuse did cost without $3 fuse.gomachv wrote: And a couple Tekin fuses

Now those are cool! That Shredder RX must have been the 2.4GHZ of today but back then. Pretty cool stuff you got there!

On a nitro car you would flip the switch and it would pulse the throttle servo variablely on how you set the pots on the back.

A. It's a CREAM DREAM!
B. When was the Magnum Senior released relative to the PCM? I remember guys around here using the Magnum Jr.(myself included) and then I remember the PCM(myself not included ), but I don't remember the Magnum Sr. much around here. I ask because it seems like something the "adults", as they were referred to back in the day( )would have been using just to one up each other. I remember the owner of the LHS was quite a genius at encouraging the prostitution of technology to all the "adults" I raced with.

Re: GoMachV's vintage new in box electronics
I am not entirely sure but I never saw one at the off road track, only the on road guys had them. The battery box comes off (shown off in the pics) and can be carried in a pocket with a long din cable. Good for enduros. The warm up switch was also a gas on road thing. I'll have to look and see what the dates inside are.

Re: GoMachV's vintage new in box electronics
Nice Finds, I really would like get my hand on a magnum sr. It was one of the radios that I wanted when I just started racing and could never afford. The local hobby shop people called it the Rolls Royce of radios back then.
Giving old thing a new life!

Yeah! My newest addition arrived today. Still looking for a minty EX5 but an EXII is a start!
