Calling all Victor Engineering experts ( and hoarders )

Post by makoman1860 »

Hey Guys,
Well I wanted to round out my collection of Victor stuff with an IQ8 multiplexer, and found a nice looking one on an auction site. Long story short, it looks great but there was no option in the menu screens for the multiplexer. Popped the cover off, and the EProm chip with the IQ8 program was not installed. So either I need the chip, or a way to suck the program out of one and burn it into another. Any help out there?

Not that I can be of much help... But I still have my Victor Jr. and love that thing. Used it just last winter to do some NiCd cycling of my old race packs. All still work! :)

I have eprom equipment from automotive efi programming, so I can pull binaries from and program chips like a 27c256, etc. If you can find someone with the chip, i might be able to help.

Fantastic! I found chips so right now I just need to find someone that has one with the multiplexer. Keeping my fingers crossed!
