'Team Schumacher' Reedy 21D

Post by dinglem »

I have been hunting for this for a while, as i remember specifically buying it for my Meteor to race on carpet/tarmac at one of our local clubs. It was a Reedy Silver Dot, but re-labelled as a Team Schumacher motor. I still have the 21 Double armature for it too. It was ballistic - quickest car I have ever driven, in a straight line anyway.

Has anybody else seen this label before though? Can't recall ever seeing another.

I used to have one of these, not long ago... never ran it, though, so can't comment on performance.

I had one...might even still have it in a parts car sitting away in one of the crates-o-stuff. It bothered me since I sorted out motors by company and this one had multiple company logos and didn't know where to put it...so it stayed in the car I believe

I actually purchased mine as a 'Reedy Silver Dot 21D' and this is how it came labeled, so now you know! I have a whole selection of Reedy motors and was specifically after their Silver Dot, so definitely the case. I was just curious as to how many others had come across this?

I can honestly say I've never bought a new brushed motor. I really didn't get into electric til brushless and lipo came around. My nitro blew away all the electrics and they just couldn't keep my interest I guess back then. I bought and sold alot of rc stuff to support my rc and slot car "habit" and gave away even more electric stuff away back then.

Thanx for the bit of info though 8)
