I soldered up a few packs using the DEANS back before the turn of the century around '97. No idea how long the LHS had them on the shelf until then though. It seems though that the raised bar style would be a later type.
I am fairly certain that there were actually two versions of the Dean's bars. The ones shown in the picture above were the later style that were popular through the NiMH era of RC racing.
are any of you running them on your racers? i run my rc10 on astro and in tight 180's off a fast corner the car will pick up in the inside front wheel as its transferring to much weight to the outer rear wheel.

Here's mine. Endlinks are from the associated t4 rear swaybar kit. Lower mounts are just a long ballstud with a spacer between the aluminum ends. Bulkhead is all stock 10GT. I took the kit swaybars and spread them out a bit and just used music wire...
did this when i saw a bumper for a rock crawler jeep its made out of a peice of coat hanger and i make 1 for the back.. just cut about foot of coat hanger put the ends in the wing holders (i dont run wings). i got tired of wreckin my world car shock...

:?: Didn t the CAT XLS come with only the front roll bar? any one know? I have a NIB XLS but the box has been open and its missing the instruction manual so maybe its missing the rear roll bar, I only see the front one in the parts bag.????? :?:...
